I’ve spent nearly two months with my nook and there a few gadget I use every day — I simply can’t live without them, here’s a list of my four favorite.
If you’re like me, I’m always hesitant to spend money on screen protectors because there are tons of companies out there that make crappy ones that don’t fit, don’t do what they say they will, and are way to expensive for the flimsy film cover they send you. Yes, I have had some bad experiences in the past! Get more information about Anti-Glare Screen Protector For Nook Color
It’s almost a perfect fit and it is very secure. This durable leather case protects and neatly stores your nook everyday.Nook Ruby Patent Leather Vertical Flip Case features an integrated stand that can be used to prop up your nook for handsfree reading and is magnetically kept in place when not in use.
I got this package back in Dec 2010, the quality of the material is pretty good, considering the price. O_o Soft for the feel, but hard enough to protect the nook. I actually dropped the case once with the nook inside, but no damage to the nook. The accessory that comes with the package is nice to have. Book light: Perfect Match for the Nook or Nook color! You will need three AAA batteries for the book light (not included in the package). The light has two light settings which one works well by it self. Having both of the lights on makes it brighter, the lights cover the entire screen of the page that I am reading.
This miniaturized pen stylus sports a pocket size form factor, and works with all capacitive screens. No longer will you have to take off your gloves off on a cold day just to use your nook color as the mini Capacitive Stylus enables you to use your nook color without ever touching the screen with your finger!
Great dude, but i just get Skinomi TechSkin – Carbon Fiber FILM + LIFETIME REPLACEMENTS and its work very well too
great article, first time that i heard about nook guru – hehehe
Thx Alan
These cases are OK, but I don’t like cases with zippers or any that are too bulky.
As for a cover, I like something I can safely store my Nook in and then take out when I want to read. I prefer to read holding the Nook itself as I think the whole idea of an ereader is to hold something lighter than an actual book. So I purchased a simple sleeve from a company I found that makes a pretty good one for this unit and sells them for only $8.95 with free freight at http://www.nuvo-tek.com.
By the same token, if anyone knows of where I can buy a good cover (not a sleeve) that is not too expensive for the Nook Color, please let me know.
